Join us in acts of gratitude and service that lift up veterans, express pride in country and community, and support future generations.
Your contributions and compassion are vital to SAVCO. With your help, we support Sedona-area activities that are patriotic, non-political, rewarding...and fun! From our holiday-season Toys for Tots campaign, to direct Veteran Assistance Programs, and much more, your volunteer hours and tax-deductible donations help make a difference in the lives of many.
While we prioritize projects for veterans and youth, we also support many worthwhile community needs. We welcome and value your input, ideas, donations, and most of all, your time.
Toys for Tots
Help us ensure that all children experience the magic of Christmas every year. This popular holiday campaign assists less fortunate families from Sedona to the Hopi Nation.
Direct Veteran Assistance
Whether it’s securing a therapy dog for a veteran’s autistic grandson or helping veterans find employment or new directions, we give to any number of deserving individuals or organizations.
Higher Education Scholarships
Make a meaningful difference in the life of a young person. Our annual scholarships help fund higher education for Sedona Red Rock High School graduates who exhibit drive, focus and empathy.
Hannah Lanchbury is SAVCO’s 2022 scholarship recipient. She will be attending Grand Canyon University and pursuing the title of Nurse Practitioner.
89 Flags on 89A & Acts of Remembrance
Support our visual representation of patriotism and love of country. Volunteer to put up and take down the flags along 89A on important holidays, or help organize other events, such as the annual Memorial Day observance at Sedona’s Military Park.

Since 2009, our volunteers have donated more than 4,000 toys each year, awarded 11 high school scholarships and raised more than $100,000 for veteran assistance. And, we’ve had a lot of fun and fellowship along the way.
