Litter Lifters Strike Again!
On a beautiful sunny day in September a hardy group of members met at Spring Creek road and Hwy 89A to surmount the challenge of Litter Lifting. Our opportunity to roll up our sleeves and help keep Arizona beautiful. Immediately upon arrival, Al Coxe discovered the front bumper cover from an offending vehicle. This was our largest piece of litter lifted. Soon after commencing our task it was apparent to everyone our previous litter lifting adventure had eradicated the majority of the litter. The previous excursion netted 27 bags of litter, this excursion netted 15 bags. Our efforts are paying dividends to the state. A hardy SAVCO “thank you” is extended to all participants. Our next mission is scheduled for the Spring.
